He has achieved the rank of Captain over the course of a military career spanning numerous leadership positions, beginning with his time as a Djibouti Africa Commanding Officer at the Navy Operational Support Center in New York City, and culminating in his time as a Commanding Officer with the Navy Reserve in San Diego. Michael Fourte has earned a myriad of military honors and accolades over his nearly three decades of service, including the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal.

Moreover, Michael Fourte has balanced his military career with his work as an attorney and business leader. He has managed operations at the Law Offices of Michael Fourte since 2006. He is also the chief executive officer of Fourte International, LLC. His legal expertise encompasses many fields, ranging from real estate brokerage law to land use law.

Following his time as an advanced computer programming student at the US Naval Academy, Michael Fourte completed a law program at Fordham Law School. He continued his education at the Joint Force Staff College and Keller Graduate School of Business, completing a joint professional military education program and earning a master of business administration, respectively.
